Being a native of Colorado, I’ve visited everywhere from the cities and throughout the Rocky Mountains, and the summer is my favorite time to explore this great state. Colorado Springs
The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor has been a well-known luxury resort in Colorado Springs for as long as I remember, in fact, it was established in 1918 (long before I was born!). The resort is set along the beautiful Cheyenne Mountains where there are numerous outdoor activities nearby that they entire family will enjoy.
This Colorado resort is massive and is known for its extensive recreational facilities which include championship golf courses, tennis courts, a spa and wellness center, swimming pools, horseback riding, fly fishing, and hiking.

The Grand Hyatt is my top choice for a family-friendly resort hotel in downtown Denver. It is centrally located downtown, right near the 16th Street Mall, where there are lots of restaurant options for the family. You’ll find plenty of activities around the downtown Denver area to keep you busy with the kids, from the Denver Zoo to the Downtown Aquarium. The hotel has many amenities for kids, like an indoor pool, a rooftop lounge, and a kid-friendly buffet.

The Estes Park Resort is a beautiful hotel that sits right on Lake Estes. The resort contains hotel rooms, suites, and luxury 2-story cabins for rent.
