What to Pack for a Spring Trip to Spain

Sagrada Família in Barcelona, Spain

I headed to Spain this April (2024), and while deciding what to pack had been a process, I knew for one, I wanted to pack light, but I also wanted to ensure I was prepared for the weather and look cute while doing so. At 47 years old, looking cute and stylish while staying comfortable, warm, and not too hot is no easy task. I’ve found the key is to find a few key staples you can bring, comfortable shoes (because you will walk a lot), and layers! I also want to find some cute lightweight dresses I can maybe wear for a night out on the town if the mood strikes. I will say the mornings and evenings were chilly so I was thankful to have a jacket or sweater, spring in Spain is beautiful but the temps can vary, and being comfortable in your attire is key.

Below you’ll find my guide for what I packed for my week-long trip to Spain. I have traveled to Europe several times, just before Spain was Paris in the fall, and found this tried-and-true method to be the most practical.
