Travelon Anti-Theft Bag Review

I recently traveled to Spain visiting Madrid, Toledo, and Barcelona. Before my trip, I kept hearing about the notorious pickpockets and knew I needed a bag I could trust.

Enter the Travelon anti-theft bag! I took it with me through Spain and felt secure the entire time. In this Travelon anti-theft bag review, I’ll share my experience and dive into the awesome features that make this bag a must-have for any traveler.

What makes this Travelon anti-theft bag so great?

1. It has lots of space and pockets

The front two pockets held quite a few essentials. I kept things like my phone, metro tickets, chapstick, and other items I needed to access quickly in these pockets. There is also a back pocket where you can keep more valuable items. The bag has an inner zip pocket and two open side pockets, plus the inside pocket is really deep and spacious. I was able to keep my portable phone charger, sunscreen, travel umbrella, and souvenirs I bought (within reason) in these pockets. It’s great for carrying little snacks too if you have kids!

    2. Keeps your credit cards safe

The front main pocket also has space for your credit cards, ID, and passport. The benefit of these pockets is that they are RFID-blocking meaning credit card thieves won’t be able to scan your credit card numbers.

    3. Has locking pockets

Each outside pocket has a lock for the zipper that’s easy to clamp on and unlock. This put me at ease because I knew the pockets couldn’t be unzipped in a tight, crowded space (like the metro), leaving my valuables exposed.

    4. The cross-body straps are slash-proof and can be locked around chairs

I never really thought about having my purse slashed, but apparently, that does happen. For peace of mind, this bag has slash-resistant body panels and a shoulder strap. Another great feature is that you can lock the shoulder strap around a chair when dining out.

    5. Has an LED Flash Light

I honestly didn’t use this flashlight during my trip, but it was nice to know it was there. You never know when you might get caught in the dark and need a light.

    5. Side water bottle holder

Lastly, a feature that I loved was this side water bottle holder. It zips up so you can shrink it down when not in use and expands to nicely fit a water bottle. This was great for all the walking we did, I was glad to always have my water carried along!

Overall, the Travelon anti-theft bag was perfect for my trip to Spain, and I plan to bring it on my trip to Disney World this summer. It gave me peace of mind walking through the streets of Madrid and Barcelona, and I always felt safe. I give this bag a thumbs up for its all-around great value.
